Proverbs 19:17

3. Baby Diapers Size Infant for Lorena

With the help of our Mission Partners, Cancun Christian Fellowship purchased and delivered eggs, milk, pork, beef and chorizo to Casa Hogar para Ninos Esperanza.

Harold and Tracy Chapman donated children’s bible study books in Spanish to Our Home of Children Waiting. Thanks guys, Pastor Mancilla was very appreciative.

Tammy & James Derksen, Mission Partners from Canada, increased their financial commitment to our work through a donation to be used for supplies for Lorena.

Gary and Marti Mason made another donation of Diapers for our new baby this week. Diapers are always needed and appreciated.

Speaking of Lorena, the speculation is over and our new girl has a name. Lorena named is Ruth Noami and she is really beautiful. Mother and daughter seem to be doing well. (I know you think I misspelled her name but I didn’t…it is Noami)

Isaiah 1:17

We had 19 people in church last Sunday. Not an all time record but a great group.

We also had new faces in church Sunday and we know that some of them will be returning. It is always great when people visit our church and even greater when they join us by joining our family.

Luke 6:38
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

2/9/2011 News Letter - Pizza Luncheon Information

2/9/2011

Many people want to serve God, but only as advisors.

If you are considering a commodity donation to Casa Hogar para Ninos Esperanza, here are some items that are currently needed:
1. Locking file cabinet
2. Milk / Cheese
3. Children’s clothes and shoes (any size-any gender)
4. Baby Diapers Size Small

With the help of our Mission Partners, for the past two weeks Cancun Christian Fellowship purchased and delivered eggs, milk, pork, chicken, chorizo and cereal to Casa Hogar para Ninos Esperanza.

Sunday, February 13th is THE DATE for our Pizza Luncheon at Shakey’s Pizza in Malecon Americas. We will be getting together at 1:00 and we hope you join us. There is an indoor playground for the children and ample seating for the adults. Food and drinks are courtesy of Cancun Christian Fellowship so come hungry and enjoy the Pizza and conversation with your Christian family.

Gary and Marty Mason have been furnishing our Cancun Christian orphanage with diapers and lunch box drinks. Thanks guys. I am also happy to tell you that Gary has joined our Wednesday Christian Men’s Group and has been going with us to purchase the weekly groceries as well as visiting Casa Hogar. Gary got hooked on his first trip and what a great thing to be hooked on.

Speaking of the Men’s Group…eight guys attended the meeting today and six guys attended last Wednesday. We are now meeting at McDonalds Mac CafĂ© at the intersection of Kabah and Nichupte @ 8:30. We hope to see you there. If you are not receiving the lesson mail out, please drop me a note and I will add you to the mailing list.

Oscar Hernandez of Cozumel has joined our family of Mission Partners with his financial donation to Casa Hogar para Ninos Esperanza. Oscar is a great guy and I hope you have the chance to know him like I do.

I don't know why some people change churches; what difference does it make which one you stay home from?

Last week, ladies from the Wednesday Christian Ladies Group, along with Henry, spent time working at Casa Hogar para Ninos Esperanza cleaning an upstairs room in preparation and anticipation of the birth of Lorena’s baby. The baby is due the first week in March and Lorena will make a beautiful mother.

We had 22 people in church last Sunday. The sad news is it was Katherine’s mother and sisters last Sunday with us. We hope they will join us again next year. It was good to see Trish and her girls back from the US and a special thanks to Harold for rounding up the crew he brought. Also, thanks again Harold for helping with the service two weeks ago. It was also great to see Prince and Kathy back in paradise and we hope to see you at the Pizza Luncheon.

Ladies, if you are not attending the Women’s Christian Group, you are missing out on fellowship with ladies that care about and support you. Cherilyn and Laurie have meeting details they would love to share with you.

The task ahead of us is never as great as the Power behind us.

Cherilyn and Laurie are making plans for a Thursday Night Women’s Study Group and they are seeking responses from ladies that are interested in attending. If you would like to be a part of the Thursday night group, PLEASE email Cherilyn at cherilynmartin@inbox.com to express your interest.

For Sale: We continue to offer a new 6 burner stove for sale. The stove is a Whirlpool, white with a glass center cover. Pastor Mancilla has priced the appliance at $2,000 pesos. It can be seen at Casa Hogar para Ninos Esperanza. If you are interested, please contact Tom Martin to set up an appointment. All proceeds will go directly to our Cancun Christian orphanage. TJ was kind enough to find a new home for the dryer. Thanks TJ.

Cherilyn and I would like to express our sincere thanks to Laurie and TJ for stepping up and helping with the Sunday Service last week. You did a great job. If anyone would like to take a more active part in the Sunday Service, please contact us. Your assistance and participation will be greatly appreciated.
