“Command those who are rich in this present world…to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share…so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.” I Timothy 6:17-19

Our Mission: We are servants of God by serving others. We share a responsibility to bring God's love to hurting people. We are a Christian Mission Outreach dedicated to showing people, through our teaching, actions and love, the life changing power of Jesus Christ.

Expect great things from God, attempt great things for God.  William Carey

Spiritual food is simply to do His will. Preoccupation with one's own supply causes lack, whereas concern with God's kingdom brings satisfaction.  Watchman Nee

If you are in the Riviera Maya and have clothing or commodity contributions for our children, please contact Cherilyn Martin … all items must be sorted and sized before Wednesday delivery. Please strive to make sure all items offered are clean and serviceable.

I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And that which I can do, by the grace of God, I will do. D.L. Moody  (a personal favorite)

Life becomes harder for us when we live for others, but it also becomes richer and happier.  Albert Schweitzer

With the financial help of our members and worldwide Mission Partners Henry and Tom were able to purchase and provide a week’s supply of chicken, molida especial, pork, salchicha, chorizo, sliced turkey and cheese to our Christian home. With your financial assistance, Cancun Christian Fellowship purchases and delivers groceries to Casa Hogar para Ninos Esperanza every Wednesday.

What an encouragement to realize that God has reserved you and me for a special task in His great work. In His hands we're not only useful, but priceless.  Joni Eareckson Tada

We started work on the 3rd community bathroom last Thursday and things are going well. We have not encountered the problems we had on the 2nd bathroom. We expect the bathroom work to be complete by Friday of this week. We are using the same tile and plumbing crew as before and we owe a ton of thanks to Brian Schaefer, our contractor. We could not do it without him.

Those that God used in the past were just ordinary people with an extraordinary Master. They were not all champions of great faith, but little people who saw their own need, and put their small faith in a great God.  Winkie Pratney

We had a Baptism last Sunday afternoon in Puerto Morelos. Tammy Cooper of Houston, Texas dedicated her life to our Lord. Several church members were in attendance to offer support and congratulations. The weather was perfect, the waves were minimal and we all had a great time. After the Baptism, we celebrated at Pelicano’s Restaurant where the view of the marvelous Caribbean is the absolute best. Thanks to everyone that turned out…especially Tammy Cooper.

On the most elementary level, you do not have to go to church to be a Christian. You do not have to go home to be married either. But in both cases if you do not, you will have a very poor relationship.  R. Kent Hughes (Amen…what a great quote)

This week’s lesson will be delivered by Mark Shook (When You´re Going Through Hell). We have previewed the lesson and we know you will enjoy it. We invite you to join us at 10:00 AM.

Church membership is not an incidental or optional matter for the Christian. Rather, it's an essential and important aspect of the Christian life. According to Scripture, being a part of a local church brings with it tremendous privileges, and serious responsibilities, that can be fulfilled in no other way.  Wayne Mack

Remember, you are an evangelist and as an evangelist, it is your responsibility to help bring people to God. Why not make a simple phone call and invite a friend, family member or neighbor to join you in church this Sunday. It might very well be the greatest thing you have ever done for them.

God does not judge the condition or quality of His church by how good the meetings are on Sunday morning, but by how good the people are on Monday morning. The main calling of our life is more than just knowing the truth--it is having that truth become our life.  Rick Joyner

This week’s pre-church entertainment will again feature Flip Pallot, host of Walker’s Cay Chronicles. We will be showing Flip back in the Florida with Tournament Champion Rob Fordyce fly fishing for Tarpon. Flip’s videos offer enough excitement for even the seasoned angler. Please join us at 9:20 AM, sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

Church attendance is as vital to a disciple as a transfusion of rich, healthy blood to a sick man.  D.L. Moody

Keep George and Jean in your prayers…they are currently traveling in South America.

The Church is not a gallery for the exhibition of eminent Christians, but a school for the education of imperfect ones.  Henry Ward Beecher

The purpose of tithing, found in Deuteronomy 14:22-23 (NLT), is made clear: to “teach you always to love the Lord your God.” By practicing good tithing habits, scripture tells us we are showing God our desire to put him first in our lives.

The purpose of tithing is to secure not the tithe but the tither, not the gift but the giver, not the possession but the possessor, not your money but you for God.  Anonymous

Laurie Lipp offers a Children’s Bible Study Class each Sunday for children ten and under. The class is held in the showroom at the front of Plaza Tokal. For additional details, please contact Laurie before or after the service. She will be excited to talk to you.

The church is a hospital for sinners, and not a museum for saints.  Vance Havner

Do something for somebody everyday for which you do not get paid.  Albert Schweitzer
